Hey guys! This post is very important for me because I myself found the solution to increase torrent speeds on utorrent app on android/apple smartphone.
Its very easy, but be careful about what you do. Read along :-
1. Get utorrent app, if you don’t have it.
2. Download TCP port scanner from play store/app store.
3. Open the TCP port app and write your IP address in the box where it asks and click on scan.
4. It will take some time to scan so please be patient.
5. Once done, it will show you some numbers. They are TCP ports, write them down somewhere.
6. Open your utorrent app and click on settings.
7. Click on TCP port and replace the default number with any of the TCP port number you scanned earlier. You can use an
port.
8. Now close the app and then restart your device.
9. Try any torrent now and you will notice the change in speed.
Download a good torrent with good number of seeds and less leaches, check the speed and then pause it and then do what I just explained above. Start your torrent again, you’ll notice increase in speed by at least 5x.
